Homecare Services
Need a bit of extra help around the home?
Catholic Healthcare can deliver services to you at St Hedwig Village through a Home Care Package or the Commonwealth Home Support Programme.*
*Access to a Home Care Package or the CHSP is subject to eligibility criteria set by the Commonwealth Department of Health and any resident seeking to access a package should contact My Aged Care on 1800 200 422.
Our home care services include:
Light Housekeeping
Let us help you with your domestic to-do 
list and assist with a wide variety of tasks including cleaning, laundry, ironing, changing bed linen, washing and drying dishes.
Personal Grooming
If you’re recovering from surgery or your mobility is restricted, our personal care services will assist you with everything from showering, toileting and getting dressed to general grooming and oral care.
Volunteer Services
We understand the many benefits of personal connection whether it's participating in activities of having people to pop in and spend time with you. Our volunteer services are designed to help you maintain your social wellbeing, either in person or with telephone check-ins.
Home & Garden Maintenance
There’s no need to think about mowing, gutter cleaning, weeding or home maintenance. Our services ensure your home and garden are kept pristine, with ease.
†Should you ever need them, a wide range of services can be arranged through our Home Care Program for an additional charge.
Residential Aged Care
From the moment you arrive, you’ll enjoy a sense of belonging as our highly qualified team, including nurses, care workers and lifestyle coordinators, make it their priority to understand you, your story and your interests. Catholic Healthcare also operates the co-located St Hedwig's Residential Aged Care which has operated alongside the St Hedwig Retirement Village since its inception. So should your needs change there is a conveniently located service which you may wish to move into*.
*Any move from St Hedwig Retirement Village to St Hedwig Residential Aged Care is subject to room availability at the aged care home and normal government eligibility criteria. Residents of the Retirement Village are not guaranteed a place at the residential aged care home or priority access. You may have to pay a departure fee when you leave this village.
